iPhoeItalia claimed to have a confirmed release date of iPhone 5 from a very reliable source. The source is the senior executive of Swisscom, a major mobile service provider/network in Switzerland.

They claimed that they had already secured a contract with Apple regarding the iPhone 5′s distribution method.

The source also said that Apple will have the iPhone 5 released on September, and probably start to be available in the United States and will be available in most countries like Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK starting from October.

The executive says 100% sure about his statement regarding the iPhone 5 release date. However, most people seem to think that Apple will begin selling the iPhone 5 in the US early September to tie in with the September event.
